Description

You will use the prompts from the attached picture. You have to read the attached picture. to gather ideas about what informs your personal body story. You can make a web of things or a list of movement practices or ideas. Then, choose 3 things that feel most significant to your story.
You will then construct an essay with an introduction and a thesis statement, 3 complete supporting paragraphs (I paragraph for each of the 3 things you chose), and conclusion for how you would like your body story to move forward after these experiences. Your thesis statement will look something like:
The three most significant occurrences that inform my body story are … 
DO NOT USE THIS EXAMPLE BUT JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA: 
I For example, my body story thesis statement would be: “The three most important things that inform my body story include my training as a dancer, my love of water, and my arrhythmia.” I would then dedicate one paragraph to each topic and detail in that paragraph WHY each of these moments feels significant to me in my bodily experience. My conclusion would then wrap these ideas up and present an idea about how I would like to see my body story continue in the future.
